What educational background is required?

No formal experience or education is required but you should know the following:

​

• English proficiency

• High School Math (Some basic College Algebra)

• High School Physics.

• Foundational knowledge of Electronics is helpful. 

 

Overviews of these topics is included but you may need to reference external sources on subjects you have not mastered.

A High School Diploma or equivalent  is highly recommended for Aviation employment purposes.

Why doesn't this course cost more?

 

The primary goal of ATI is to expand access to avionics careers.  We do not want cost to be a burden for those who have a passion for Aviation.  We use an automated Learning Management System that allows you to move through courses at your pace. There is a built in AI tutor for each unit to help you delve as deep as you need for each topic.

What exams will this prepare me to pass?

​

Upon completion of the ATI Avionics Technician program you will have already been tested on your ability to pass the FCC GROL exam and the AET / CAET exams. You will be confident to take those exams at your leisure.  More importantly, you will thoroughly understand the subjects you are being tested on.
